Privacy Policy
What we collect when you book a table, join the list or sign in, and what we do with it.
Last updated 18 September 2026
This policy covers the website of 12835 Preston Rd, Suite 220, Dallas, TX 75230. It describes what the site collects, why, and how to have it removed. We have written it to match what the site actually does rather than to cover every eventuality.
What we collect, and when
We collect what you type in, and an anonymous count of the pages people open, kept on our own server. Nothing on this site follows you to other websites, and we say more about that below.
If you book a table
Your name, email address, phone number, the size of your party, the date and time, and any note you add about allergies or an occasion. We need all of it to hold the table and to contact you if something changes.
If you send an enquiry
From the catering, private events or contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about the event — the date, the guest count, the budget range, dietary or bar requirements. We also record the page you sent it from and your IP address, which we keep only to recognise automated spam.
If you join The Fusion Table
Your name and email address, and optionally your phone number and the day and month of your birthday — the year is never asked for. We keep a record of every points movement on your account, because a balance that cannot be explained is one we could not defend if you queried it. If you set a password we store it hashed, never in a form we can read.
If you sign in with Google
Google tells us your name, email address, and whether it has verified that address. We store those and an identifier Google gives us so we can recognise you next time. We never receive your Google password, and we ask Google for nothing else — no contacts, no calendar, no files.
If you join the mailing list
Your email address, optionally the day and month of your birthday, and your IP address at the time you signed up. You are not added until you click the link we email you, and every message we send carries a way out.
When you browse
The site counts the pages it serves, on our own server and with no outside company involved: which page was opened, which website or search linked to it, the kind of device and browser, roughly how long the page stayed open, and taps on our phone number, directions or ordering links. To tell one visit from the next we set two cookies that hold only random numbers — one lasting a visit, one lasting up to a year so we can tell a first visit from a return. We do not store your IP address with them, never link them to your name or email, and never share them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we set neither.
What we do not do
This is the short part, and it is deliberate.
- No third-party analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no tracking script from any other company on this site. The visit counts described above never leave our server.
- No advertising. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
- No third-party fonts. Our typefaces are served from our own server, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.
- No advertising cookies. The cookies we set keep you signed in, protect our forms from abuse, and count visits anonymously as described above. None is used for advertising or to follow you across other websites.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work:
- Our email provider, which delivers your booking confirmation, enquiry acknowledgement or list confirmation.
- Google, if and only if you choose to sign in with it.
- Our web host, which stores the database.
Ordering food for collection or delivery happens on our partners' own websites. When you follow one of those links you leave this site, and what happens next is covered by their privacy policy, not ours. We never see your payment details — no payment is ever taken on this site.
How long we keep it
- Bookings and enquiries: kept while they are useful to us as a record of who we have served, and removable on request.
- Loyalty accounts: kept while the membership exists. The points history is kept alongside it, because it is the only explanation of a balance.
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
What you can ask us to do
Write to fusiondallastx@gmail.com and we will:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything wrong — you can also do this yourself on your account page;
- delete it, except where we are obliged to keep a record of a transaction;
- take you off the mailing list, which the link in any of our emails also does.
If you would rather not have an account at all, you do not need one: you can book a table, send an enquiry and check your loyalty balance without ever setting a password.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. Families are of course welcome in the restaurant.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change matters — if we start collecting something new, or sharing with someone new — we will say so plainly rather than quietly revising the wording.
